HS-1 Cafe Bar is bright, welcoming and cheerful, bringing a cosmopolitan air to Stornoway and there are always daily specials to choose from, all at great value prices.  

This is a venue that's popular with a huge variety of customers of all ages, local residents and visitors alike.  Some enjoy a morning coffee and a cake, others a light bite for lunch and some a full three course dinner.

We're even open from 10am on Sundays, so you can pop in after a walk around the Castle Grounds - our Soup and Roast Sunday lunch is a great way to have a relaxing day.

Just a minute or two's walk from the town centre, HS-1 is also the perfect daytime refresher stop - for a speciality coffee, a cake, a home-made ice-cream or a light bite.

We're open every day (except New Year's Day) from 12am until late - the  lunch menu being available between 12 and 4 pm and dinner from 5 to 9pm.

Hs-1's daily specials reflect the seasonality of fish and meats - for example, if a trawler lands a Monkfish early one morning, chances are you may find it on our menu that evening - at a price that's a fraction of what you might have paid for it in a city restaurant (several days after it's caught, too).
