Here at the Boatshed you'll find great tastes, some traditional and some from further afield.

Situated within yards of the trawlers that unload their catches at Stornoway's quayside, you might say we have an unfair advantage over mainland city restaurants.  In addition to the freshest fish and seafood you could wish for, we source our meat, vegetables and other produce from the closest practical sources that provide the quality we insist on.  
So your food tastes better and is as environmentally friendly as it can be.

You can enjoy hand-dived scallops and creel caught langoustines (much kinder than trawled and better tasting),  Loch Leurbost mussels, Lewis lamb from local crofts and responsibly reared Angus beef .

What's common to all our dishes, is that they're arranged in a creative manner that makes looking as interesting as tasting.
